Privacy policy
DRAFT for Anne’s review. Fill in the [bracketed] items once the email service is chosen. This is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice.
This site is run by Anne Maxwell (hello@overthinkinginterrupted.com). Here’s what I collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Launch notification
If you enter your email under “Notes from the Middle,” I use it for one thing: to tell you when the newsletter launches. I won’t add you to anything else without asking. Emails are stored with Netlify, the company that hosts this site.
Contact form
If you send a message, I receive your name, email and message so I can reply. Messages are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this site.
Analytics
[If Google Analytics is turned on:] I use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited. It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location and device type, not your name. [If it’s off, delete this section.]
What I don’t do
I don’t sell or share your details with anyone else for marketing.
Your choices
